It rained a lot while I was there, and it was the most peaceful experience watching the clouds roll in and getting the breeze off the lake. The daybed against the window overlooking the lake is just divine. I could lounge there all day. There are two very cute and friendly cats that will try to get in! It's really quiet and the bed was amazing. Most comfortable place I stayed in Guatemala. I arrived early as someone was cleaning the apartment and she was extremely nice and stowed my bag while she finished up. A nice touch you don't often get in an airbnb type place.

They each insisted if there was anything at all we needed, to come and find them, and I felt they genuinely meant it. My favourite thing was watching the sunrise from the garden each morning, a glorious outdoor space, it felt very private and we spent quite a lot of time there each morning. Great to have use of the shared kitchen, the shower had hot water, and everything was clean. I would very much recommend this accommodation, they were attentive, kind and generous with their time, expertise and culture.

Located in a more quiet part of San Pedro both restaurants and shop was close by. The host Melissa was fantastic making breakfast each morning at 8 AM and could answer any question you might have whether things to do in San Pedro or how to get to the other small towns around the lake. I stayed in the dorm, which was a large room with two bunk beds sharing the bathroom with some of the private rooms. Everything was clean. Thank you Melissa for providing such a wonderful stay in San Pedro.
