They are very contactable and courteous, they offer good advice and help with transportation, for example to the city or the train station. The place is beautifully decorated, clean and neat, everything is clearly described and the owners explain everything. ☺️In the room, in addition to the bed (which is very comfortable! ) there are bedside tables on both sides with lamps, a comfortable sofa, a table with chairs where you can have breakfast, and a refrigerator and cupboard, where the owners provided us with all the things needed to eat a decent breakfast and, of course, make it - there was a toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle (in the fridge we could find water, orange juice, milk, butter and jams, and on the cabinet prepared plates, cups, cutlery, cereal, toast in a box, tea, coffe and something sweet (there was even fruit in the room! ) : ) which was a very lovely gesture. In the bathroom connected to the room there are not only towels, but also ear sticks, cotton pads and bath lotions. It was a really pleasant stay and I would love to return there again. I wholeheartedly recommend Sarah and Tony, they really care about their guests and offer a room with the highest quality : )

Peace and Tranquility is medicine for the tired and weary soul and body. It is close to Sligo and Strandhill beach if you fancy a walk on the beach or go for a swim or maybe some surfing. Then there is the lovely Glencar Waterfall with a coffee shop if you fancy a cup of coffee or a bite to eat after the walk to the waterfall. i will highly recommend Peace and Tranquility when visiting Sligo.

Set just less than 1 km from Sligo Abbey, Pearse Lodge provides accommodation in Sligo with access to a terrace, a shared lounge, as well as bicycle parking. We can warmly and wholeheartedly recommend this place where we stayed for a full week. All practical things were simply perfect. The rooms are so so clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfasts just wonderful. We had planned eating our breakfasts on town but ended up having them at Pearse lodge every day. (The ”full Irish breakfast” is quite extraordinary!) But most of all, Pearse Lodge is as great as it is because of Mary and Kieron, the couple who run the place. They are not just fantastically professional and knowledgeable about the area, but also such warm, welcoming and friendly people. If you go to Sligo, which you should, this is the place to stay!

Loved it so much i want the designer to decorate my house. Bed was comfortable, shower had great pressure, 2 televisions. Then we ate at the restaurante for dinner and breakfast and it was delicious both times!. Staff were lovely and there was a stunning view of harbour right out front. Stay here!

Breakfast had more options than usual and was delicious. Would certainly stay again.

Their house was lovely, and the room was just what we needed. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Parking on-site. Amazing water pressure shower. In-room coffee/tea. The self-service breakfast was fantastic and tons of options. She even had homemade soda bread that was outstanding and delicious. My partners big highlight was seeing their robot lawnmower in action. He and Geraldine discussed how it works and gets set up, and now he is excited to get one when we return home. Thanks for the great advice! The big highlight for me was petting their donkey! The cutie was so nice and had the softest nose. Highly recommend a stay here. It was fantastic.

Lissadell Lodge B&B is a country home to Anthony, Linda and their 3 children situated 14 km from Sligo city centre. This B&B has 5 beautiful rooms with 3 of them over looking the mountain. All rooms are ensuite and provide complimentary toiletries. T.V, Wifi and Tea/Coffee making facilities are also available in your room. Immaculately clean house! Our host was very helpful & friendly. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there was even fresh fruit beforehand! A lovely quiet location, close enough to Sligo and Bundoran with a fab view of the mountain. Pub, local shop & excellent Chinese takeaway not far away in Carney.
