From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the host, and their hospitality set the tone for a fantastic stay. What truly stood out was that, at the time of our visit, we were the only guests, granting us the entire house to ourselves. However, even if we had shared the space with others, it wouldn't have been an issue at all, given the spaciousness of the property. The house itself is incredibly roomy, boasting two generously sized bathrooms and a total of four bedrooms. The bed we slept in was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. But what truly left us in awe was the interior design. Everything within the guesthouse appeared to be brand new, and the decor was not only welcoming but also exquisitely beautiful. We found ourselves inspired by the interior design and have even taken some ideas back home with us for our own living space. In summary, our stay at this guesthouse was a remarkable experience. The warm reception, spacious accommodations, and stunning interior design all contributed to an unforgettable visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch guesthouse experience.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. The property features a garden, barbecue facilities and parking on-site among other facilities. Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The guest house features mountain views, a children's playground, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Really made me feel at home. I was expecting something like a hostel but this was extremely homey and cosy. Loved it!

We saw the Northern Lights that night at the guesthouse and it was really beautiful experience. I recommend this guesthouse for everyone who is traveling on the east side of Iceland.
