He even guided us in setting up our futon beds. The temple opened at 6am, and we were invited to join his 7am prayer service and participate in rituals like sutra copying. Before we left, he gifted us a meaningful Wagen Aigo souvenir and sent us off with blessings. This stay was a genuine experience of Japanese culture—highly recommended.

Shota was a great host, accommodating dropping off our luggage before check in. The renovation of the old house was very nicely done, clean and very comfortable. A great place!
