At the bed and breakfast, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. We got a free upgrade upon arrival which was lovely. The room was spacious and the facilities all worked well. The check-in process was easy and the person at reception was super friendly and provided some great recommendations as well. The accomodation is off the main street so it was quite enough and you could still hear the waves though there were dogs around the area barking throughout the night which I guess isn't the accomodations fault. We only stayed for a few hours as we had to leave super early but it was clean and comfortable.

Perfect location and close to the beach, room is beautiful and spacious, and the bathroom is huge! We had a comfortable stay and the staff were friendly and helpful! The common areas and rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. The host’s kindness, the breakfasts are very good. Close to a beautiful beach, but not too tourist. A washing machine and a kitchen are at guests' disposal. - Nothing, everything was perfect.

It was very clean and the beds were private - it felt that you have your own space. I went to different hostels in Hiriketiya, but this one is the best.

Situated on the beachfront, this property features a garden. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. At the bed and breakfast, all units are fitted with a private bathroom. Absolutely LOVELY staff. We appreciated their kindness and generosity so much. They went out of our way to make our stay in Matara lovely. The room is extremely affordable and has all you need as a budget traveller!

The rooms is clean and spacious. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place if you are in Hiriketiya.
