The taps and drains work, windows and drawers slide, the floors are clean enough to walk barefoot inside and out. The many pot plants are watered and healthy. It's a short walk to the beach, cafes, shops and restaurants.

The space was much bigger and more stylish than expected, so we had plenty of room, and access to different terraces and courtyard as well as internal seating area. We loved that the Riad was tucked away in the Medina. Ali, was amazing. He met us at the gates to the Medina and escorted us to the Riad, and then to a restaurant for dinner, and met us afterwards to guide us home. He was always available to help us and brought us breakfast. He was happy to act as our guide one day around the medina and helped us get a taxi and then a super taxi to get to Chefchaouen. Without him we would have been lost and hungry!
