A very unusual stay in the old water tower. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the heated floor is to die for! The B&B is situated perfectly in the middle between Amsterdam, Den Jaag and Rotterdam, so we were able to take day trips to each city or just have a nice walk at one of the beaches nearby.

The location of the property was absolutely perfect, very close to town centre but very quiet and comfortable. We were on the ground floor room and it was great since one of our party has some mobility issues. I feel like I could write a full page just on the breakfast that was provided each morning. For two of the mornings, we had an early start so Fred delivered bread and meat and cheeses that we could eat before we left. On the days we were fortunate enough to have some time, there was enough food to feed a family of five. We were able to make sandwiches for lunch. We were blessed with incredible weather and we were able to experience King’s Day in the town. If we got tired, we were able to easily walk back to the room and have a rest before continuing on our day. There are any number of fantastic restaurants within a few minutes walking. Fred and Marion were very gracious hosts and helped out with any issues we had at all. I would recommend this BnB and these hosts for anytime you are fortunate after to visit this beautiful small city.

The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 14 km from Erasmus University. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. This old former bakery has been lovingly and perfectly renovated and is an attraction in itself! The bedroom was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with antique accessories. The bed was top quality and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and immaculate. The kitchen, breakfast room and old bakery shop were super cute. We could help ourselves to tea, coffee and traditional sweets and biscuits, which was a nice touch. The hostess was very friendly and gave us useful tips about the area. The breakfast was typically Dutch and the portions generous. What we didn’t manage to eat the hostess put in a bag for us so we could have it for lunch, which was great! The location is quiet and peaceful, yet close to nearby attractions. The car park for Kinderdijk is only 5 mins drive away. From there we got bikes and cycled around this amazing landscape. This B&B is honestly one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at!
