If you are looking for paradise, this is the place. You need to stay here! The view is breathtaking and pictures don't do justice to this place. The food was the best we had in costa rica. Yann and Kalu are really amazing and make you feel so confortable. There is nothing to improve as it is already perfect. I will recommend this place to anyone coming to costa rica.

The tent and the facilities were very well made. Everything was comfortable and working, tent was very nicely decorated.. It was clear that the comfort of the guests was the priority for Wilma and Franco. They were both so welcoming. Mosquito repellents and nets were provided. Everything was very clean. Only cold water shower but it is so hot there that you would not really want warm water anyway. Howler monkeys in the trees on the property and parrots flying above the trees. There was a resident iguana sleeping under my tent and greeting me in the morning, but it was just a little shy so I kept the distance. Also a coati was roaming near the tents. Very peaceful area to just be one with the nature, only sounds you hear are the monkeys and birds. There is a little hike to the beach. And many activities to choose from in nearby areas in this part of the Nicoya peninsula.

We stayed at the jungle tent for one night as we had arranged to do the Bioluminescence tour with Franco. The location is just perfect, it’s at the end of a long track and is surrounded by forest. The jungle tent was a really good size and it was a short walk to the showers and toilets. The wildlife around the tent was great, we saw a variety of birds, frogs, crabs and howler monkeys. We did the Bioluminescence tour in the evening which was excellent and a really good social with Franco, his assistant and another couple. Afterwards we returned and Franco and Wilma lit a fire for us and joined us for a drink. The reception we received was very warm and Franco and Wilma are lovely people and can’t do enough to help. In the morning we walked to the beach, the dogs joined us and showed us the way. This took around 20 minutes. The beach is wonderful, it’s large and empty. We saw red Macaw there. The visit felt very authentic and a bit of the touristy track which we enjoyed. I highly recommend it.

The food was delicious - we had breakfast and dinner, cooked by the family and loved everything about it. It was one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica! The family was friendly and welcoming, even helped us going back to the ferry. And it was near the tour ( Bahia Rica) we booked - perfect for 2 nights.

Located in a quiet area - very peaceful. We enjoyed driving through a local community to reach Lodge Margouillat. Beautiful grounds - Thomas has created something very special. We were in Tambor bungalow - very spacious; lovely furnishings; wide, comfortable, bed with lovely bed linen; walk-in closet with shelves and hanging space; good-sized bathroom with large shower area; settee, coffee table, chairs and table in living room area; good-sized fridge/freezer (much bigger than expected); outdoor seating in secluded area. Two lovely pools - we made very good use of these. Thomas was a great host and was very welcoming - he gave useful recommendations and we enjoyed our conversations with him. We ate at Al Chile 4 times - good food, cheap, and where locals also eat.

Bird watching here is admirable and in the morning you enjoy the sounds of the monkeys. What impressed me most was the community's commitment to conservation and respect for the environment. There is a genuine effort to preserve this corner of the world for future generations, which is extremely inspiring. The facilities and services at Nicoya Silvestre are excellent. Everything is designed to guarantee a comfortable and pleasant stay, always respecting the natural balance of the place. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, which makes the experience even more special. I highly recommend Nicoya Silvestre to any nature lover and those looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. It is a place that not only revitalizes the body, but also the soul. Nicoya Silvestre is definitely a hidden treasure that deserves to be discovered and appreciated. I also recommend taking a boat trip through the Gulf of Nicoya, visiting the islands like San Lucas and eating at a floating restaurant that is simply amazing.
