Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable. The bed was comfy, the room clean and quiet, the ensuite shower room with spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming and brought in a tea tray for us before breakfast which was delicious. A modernised good old fashioned bed and breakfast which are difficult to find.
