We arrived at Hrafnavellir in a storm (wind speeds up to 20m/s), the first thing the owner did was check the local (!) weather forecast for the upcoming 12 hours and provide us with sound travel advice! Nice, clean and comfortable rooms with a spectacular view, and a fantastic breakfast with possibly the best skyr I've ever had. This is REALLY a must-go accomodation, should you be in the neighborhood!

Absolutely wonderful stay. The accommodation is located in a peaceful area surrounded by stunning nature. The apartment is equipped down to the last detail. Everything you might need is there, and it all feels thoughtfully prepared. The surroundings are truly beautiful, with quiet sunsets in the evening. And the breakfast? Exceptional place to stay, nice size of a room and very comfy beds. Staying there, you get also a free tickets to the beach and viking village- worth to visit! But the best of it was the staff - Lambert and the whole team- so kind service and they are going an extra mile to make your stay better! Huge thanks to Lambert and his team- we felt like a special guests there! And the waffles were mouthwatering 🤤!

Accommodation was in a long block of rooms using both sides of the building, and each room had electronic door locks, so we were sent the room pin before we got there, and there no need to check-in. The accommodation is new and the room has underfloor heating and a very modern backroom and shower. What we liked is that there is a kitchen area that the guest can use and full use of plates and cutlery inc the microwave and plenty ot tables and chairs. So, there is no need to eat in your room The room was very modern, and the beds were comfy, and the room could get warm, so use the thermostat on the wall to change the temperature. Great place to stay if you want to visit the Glacier ad it's about 1hr feom diamond beach etc. Overall, it was a very good place to stay
