Location was great, close enough to town to walk to shop or a meal, but far enough away for peace and quiet. 15 min walk....from Port and Myogalpa town. Easy to hire scooter from El Peregrino...was delivered and collected from the door. Best room in 3 months travel...spotless clean, big room with space for clothes, hooks, towel rails and hangers, huge bathroom and shower. Gardens and surroundings beautiful with plenty of wildlife. The Owner will do anything to help you, has great advice and is very laid back....it's a cool chilled place! Has kitchen, cooker, fresh water for free, fridges, pool table, TV, a puppy a kitten a dog !! Perfect place to spend a week exploring the island. Do visit Cafe Campestre for amazing smoothies and great food Fabulous workout space upstairs looking out to the volcano!!! Paradise

Beautiful private rooms with big comfortable beds. Towel provided, warm showers. A/C is amazing and made for a brilliant night sleep. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Only a few minutes walk to the port, very easy to get the ferry.

The hostel is very well located close to the city of Moyogalpa, where most of the ferries arrive. The hostel is very nice, colorful and so welcoming. Thumbs very very very up for the lovely staff especially Beatrice who is a sweetheart. I was lucky to get a big room instead of the dorm ( which is quite nice ) and everything was so ok. Breakfast is delicious. Omotepe is such a quiet beautiful place with lush jungle full of animals, birds and amazing beaches. I more than highly recommend this hostel and this island

Right by the beach, beautiful sunrise to watch! Nohelia was also really great and helped us when we were having a bad time with our ATV rental place. Her food is also very nice and she makes a great cup of coffee!

The best part of staying here is that Hector makes you feel like family. He is such a kind man. He's willing to stop what he's doing to help at any time. We felt safe there because he was always either downstairs or nearby. The location is very ideal. It's right off the main road and I liked how it was kind of central to all of the adventures and activities we wanted to do. The Saturday market was also right along that road as well which was cool! It is a great budget friendly place. You have everything you need. Don't expect it to be luxurious but expect to have everything you need here. Plus you get to look out at the lake from your patio! Great coffee spot! There's a couple good restaurants that are walking distance as well as a tiny "pulperia" to get some basic food for the place. If you're wanting to do all of your cooking here just make sure to bring some groceries from the Mainland as your options will be limited.
