This was the true highlight of the trip. Eliza, the houseboat owner, was extremely hospitable and accommodating. She made every effort to assure that the houseboat was in perfect order for us. She even had a bottle of champagne for us. The accommodations were amazing and extravagant. We wish we had more time to enjoy it.

Very nice holiday, had a great time and were very relaxed. It was unforgettable. 🥳🥳🥳🍷🍇🍽️ Warm welcome, wonderful and cozy wellness complex. An absolutely exceptional hotel! Placed among many excellent restaurants, cafés and pubs, really easy to get to from the train station (15 minutes walk max.). The room was very spacious, with superb curtains for anyone sensitive to the morning light. The coffee machine in the room was a perfect addition for people in love with their morning cup of joe ;-) The bathroom was very clean, with enough space for 2 people. The overall interior design of the hotel was also very pleasant - especially the bar and reception areas (as cool as in some hostels but with a hotel quality of service ;-) ). I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone staying in Groningen!

Everything was perfect, the owner is very nice and helpful. It's a wonderful apartment, a real one bed and breakfast not like the others that are all renewed from companies and they look like hotels. In my room 2 comfortable beds, 2 couches and a lot of books. I felt like home, relaxed. the kitchen awesome. It's a pity i couldn't enjoy the patio because of the snow. Over the top

An amazing apartment in the heart of Groningen. The location is great, the train station is just around the corner and there’s plenty of restaurants and shops around. The apartment is newly renovated and furnished. The bedroom facing the street can be noisy at times during the night, but the extremely comfy beds helped us sleep well. The temperature was nice and warm in the apartment and we enjoyed the view to main street. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to come back!

    Such an interesting place to stay. The Bamboo Lodge is designed to be a leafy oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of the city and really achieves this. The lodges/rooms are well fitted out and comfortable. The lounge area and kitchen are great for cooking, relaxing and working (if you have to). The staff are friendly, practical and very helpful but the peacocks, hens, ducks, dogs and Kiwi the parrot are the real stars of the show! We had a great time here. It reminded us of the villages we've stayed in in South East Asia :)

    We booked a tent that to our surprise included beds and even Electric blankets, in case we got cold. The whole camp was absolutely lovely, even though it's in a village the campground itself at times feels miles away from any civilisation. The staff was lovely and the facilities were very well set up and taken care of especially for outdoor ones. The ambiance is lovely and you can see horses and cows from the edge of the camp. Over all it was a lovely experience
