Very cozy, had everything we needed. Excellent host, very welcoming and waited for us until we got there at 11:30pm. He had turned the heat on before we got there so the room was warm. We spent six days in their home, located in a quiet neighbourhood just outside the centre of Gjirokastra, with a stunning view over the mountains of the Drino Valley. There are many places to discover in the city as well as in its surroundings and Diana assisted us in every possible way to help us get around. We were also overjoyed by the traditional breakfast of Barda which was made from homegrown and local products. In the morning we would also sometimes drink a coffee together, or we would spent the evenings playing chess and having endless conversations. We truly felt we had becomepart of their family. If you are looking for an homestay experience, this will definitely be the right place to stay.
