We had a lovely time at Siquirres Mountain Lodge. Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄

A recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Tortuguero, near Tortuguero Beach, Cabinas Tortuguero Sports Fishing features free WiFi, a private beach area and a garden. The tranquility and atmosphere around were exactly what we needed after landing in Costa Rica.

Chiara and Ray are lovely hosts: we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were always very helpful. We rented the local bikes for the day and it was such a nice activity to explore the area. This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica and would recommend it to anyone passing by Puerto Viejo. It's located a bit further out from the center, next to Playa Negra, which for us was a plus. You can enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature there. It's totally safe and not so crowded like the center. The guesthouse is clean, very nicely furnished and looked after. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. everything, the host was so nice and polite, and the place is really beautiful, only one thing was that is was kinda far from center, but going with your car is easy, but if not you can always call a tuc tuc for 8 dollars to center

Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!
