And the bathroom, oh, we just loved it: cosy and elegant at the same time.

The location was great, far enough away from the pubs and crowds to keep it quiet but close enough to walk to everything. Denis, Mark and the whole team were exceptional hosts. They went over the top with accommodating anything we asked for. Having laundry on the premises was a plus. The breakfasts were amazing, the best we had anywhere on our 3 week trip to Ireland, Scotland and london.

In a quiet, residential location, the B&B is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Galway Cathedral. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious each day with a variety to choose from and cooked to order. Yum! The room was perfect, and beds were comfortable. We asked to leave luggage after check - out and until our train time to leave and they were happy to do that for us. They answered questions and made suggestions on things to do and where to enjoy meals in their city.

All modern and spacious apartments have separate living rooms and kitchens. Each also offers a washing machine and free Wi-Fi. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. The property was amazing, well located for a tour of Connemara. We even met some friends there by chance! The room was spotless and Lydie the host is super friendly. Definitely recommend going there!
