Excellent, excellent value. It's directly across from the beach, about an easy mile walk from the historical barrio, and it's absolutely darling. It has a full kitchen, bath, facilities like a coffee maker and microwave, and there's even an inflatable spa on the patio you can use (with permission from the owner please). And don't get me started on the owner Rosana, she has been just wonderful to work with. I want to give her a hug but she's off-site! She is wonderful! This is the best place to visit.

Beach is 20-25min walking, with a beach bar but closed Mondays and Tuesday so need to go further to get somewhere to eat, town is 45min walking.

The people that own this place added some great character. It’s in a building that’s older, skeleton keys to get in the building and the apartment. Very cool :)

Decorated with parquet floors, rooms at La Casa de los Limoneros are fitted with air conditioning. All of them afford river views and have private bathrooms. This hotel was hard to find, covered with trees and plants, very well hidden in a thick forest, at the end of a three lined alleyway. But when we got there, we were greeted welcome by Mario, one of the owners, he showed us around, inside and outside, and we instantly felt very much at home in this very special hotel! Cosy warm fire wood heaters in the living room and dining room, a/c in the bedrooms, making it very comfortable in the chilly evenings and mornings. The two dining rooms had large oval tables, where we would socialize with other guests, enjoying long breakfasts and dinners with wine, while Sergio, the other owner, and architect of this special house, together with Mario, told us the history of the hotel and give us a lot of information about the area, with ideas as to what else to explore. Outside this unique hotel there is a large park, ideal to enjoy walks and rest in the natural surroundings. A truly great please to stop for a couple of days, hope to be back soon!
