My husband, Lou bear & I stayed at Alpine Riverside Cottages in Porepunkah from 8.1.25-10.1.25.  Narelle, the host is very welcoming, helpful and friendly.  Our cabin was beautifully presented and was bright, inviting and sparkling clean.  It was fully self-contained. The really tall trees and river flowing through in the backyard provided a breathtaking and peaceful setting. We loved the beauty, tranquillity and comfort of our cabin. It was conveniently located to lots of activities and only minutes to Bright's cafes, restaurants, retail and supermarkets. We very highly recommend Alpine Riverside Cottages. Clean, nicely decorated and well made cabins. Staff turned on our heater before we arrived to make sure the cabin was warm. Plenty of blankets available. Games room had lots of great activities. Close enough to the snow for day trips up to Dingo Dell at Mt Buffalo. We would love to come back in summer to try the hire bikes and a swim in the river.
