My stay at this hotel was wonderful! The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I needed, plus it was incredibly convenient - just steps away from the penguin beach. But what truly amazed me was their outstanding integrity. After I checked out, I realized I'd left my treasured watch behind. I was heartbroken, thinking it was lost for good. Imagine my immense relief and gratitude when the hotel manager contacted me! Not only had they found and safely stored it, but they kindly offered to mail it back to me in Hong Kong. The joy of getting my watch back was incredible. This genuine care and going the extra mile for a guest is truly rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you so much! Combined with the lovely room and perfect location, I highly, highly recommend this hotel. An outstanding experience!

Very comfortable accommodation, with a bay window overlooking a park and bay beyond. Bread, fruit, yogurt, and cold cereal were provided, allowing us to have a nice breakfast each day. Lots to do including The Tarkine Drive (with walks along the route), admiring the penguins coming ashore at the town's viewing platforms, and being amused by the pademelon atop the Nut.

Everything. We were right on the waterfront with huge windows for the beautiful view. The windows were cleaned as we moved in. Fabulous. The room was compact and had everything we needed.

Felt great to have our own personal tiny home next to the beach! Saw some amazing wildlife including Penguins at night! Would recommend to anyone.

Built in 1847, the historic Stanley Hotel offers a bistro, bar and accommodation with a flat-screen TV. There is a billiards table for guests to enjoy.

Easy to find, super calm, very kind receptionist. Perfect to spot Pinguins. Walking distance to platform and to two beaches. Room was nicely decorated, clean, coffee, tea and milk. It was perfect.

Suited our purpose to stay on our way to Arthur River and then again on our return. Host a most helpful lady and we really enjoyed chatting with her. The accommodation was clean and tidy and a comfortable place to stay. Good size fridge freezer and a shower that was the best we had been in. We came prepared to self cater, if you don't then you have to drive into Smithton or Stanley, or eat prior to travelling here. Suited us fine. Also had internet access which was unexpected.
