Fabulous cottage. Very comfortable and characterful, beautiful location, well-equipped and much more spacious inside than it looks from the outside. There are lovely walks locally and the river Wye is just across the road. A pub a few minutes' walk away and it's just a few miles from Buxton. The supply of tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen was a nice touch.

Very clean and well furnished. There is underfloor heating too! Property was located within walking distance to The Crescent and visitor center. Sheets and towels were freshly laundered and smelt very nice. Communication with host was clear and efficient. Free parking.

After a freezing day in the Peaks we drove into Taddington. Another stone house village of many we passed through. We were hugely surprised with the apartment above the pub. It was newly renovated, huge, very quiet (because of the thick walls) and had a great kitchen and the best shower of our trip around the UK. Highly recommended!!! The pub was quaint and had fabulous meals.

The hosts were a delight. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The freshly-made pastries were scrumptious. The location was perfect - quiet and just a short walk to the city centre. The lovely rooms were decorated with attention to detail and comfort and conducive to a restful and peaceful sleep. Very much enjoyed our stay.

It was absolutely spotless. The decor was stunning in every room. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment needed. The location was great. Overall, it was perfect with a luxurious feeling and the owners were extremely helpful and accommodating providing all the information needed and checking we were happy with everything when we arrived.

Our room was large and spotlessly clean. We had intentionally booked a room with lake view which was lovely and peaceful. No external noises whatsoever. Location is ideal for exploring Buxton and surrounding areas and a 5 minute walk from the Opera House.

Everything appeared brand new and of top quality. Spotlessly clean. Great attention to detail and a nice eye for stylish decor. The kitchen was well-equipped, the showers great and the hot tub superb. Location is ideal.

Everything the room was spotless and perfect with everything you needed, location ideal the breakfast was amazing hot and filling we had cooked breakfast but the variety for continental breakfast was huge Paul and Sarah couldn't do enough for you

Friendly welcome. Allowed to park car prior to checking in and for a few hours after checking out. Room spotless and breakfast prompt and tasty. Ideal location to explore Buxton on foot. Can recommend The Old Sun pub for food, 5 minutes walk away.
