The location was perfect. Just outside of Keswick not too far if you wanted to walk into the town to save hassle of trying to find parking during the busy day. Moreover, the location of Shepherds view offers amazing views over Keswick and two of the lakes. The owner was very kind and caring about our stay and made sure we were happy and let us know if we needed anything we’d know where to find them. Another thing that we found super helpful and a nice touch was the folder left on the kitchen table full of different activities you can do such as different tours of all the lakes etc…as well as letting us know of nearby walks places to eat and must see locations. Furthermore, the Lodge itself had modern appliances all round but still provided that warm cosy lodge feeling.

Everything was perfect. Great location, spacious apartment, parking easy, communication with owners great. Spotlessly clean. Lots of space for a 1 bed appointment. Plenty of storage. Comfy beds. Minutes from the centre but not noisy. We loved it.
