Everythong. Whole house was at our disposal, living, kitchen, bedrooms, bath, a small backyard with table and chairs. All what needed in kitchen, nice furniture and a warm atmosphere in house. The locality of the Hotel was superb, within walking distance of the centre of town with it’s many restaurants, hotels, shops and activity centres. We walked to the Mt Snowdon railway to catch the diesel train up the mountain and back. We also visited the large Slate Museum, well worth visiting with its displays and historical information. Also within easy walking distance were the lakes with the kayak and boating activities, the Lakeside railway, Castle Ruins and many lovely walks to waterfalls, and forest paths to beautiful mountain scenery. Another place well worth visiting and very close by, is the Quarry Hospital with its displays of early medical history of the Slate Mine injuries and medical staff and much of the equipment used last century. Also beautiful views from the hospital entrance looking back over the lake to Llanberis. In regard to the Hostel itself, they have a restaurant that provides good meals and service. The owner, manager and staff were very welcoming, helpful and enjoyed having conversations with the customers

Mark and his team were very helpful, kind, and prompt on their assistance. Mark had also looked out for our safety by proactively alerting us of the high room temperature detected (my friend and I turned up the heater as we are from Singapore and not used to the cold weather). The facilities were clean and comfortable, location perfect for climbers of Snowdon (just a short walk away) and great for day trips out to other towns via public transport. Near to many other eateries and convenience stores too. We couldn't have asked for more! We will definitely book this accommodation again when we come back to North Wales.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this charming B&B. Nestled in the heart of nature, it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Although we left very early, the hosts kindly prepared a delicious continental breakfast for us, which was greatly appreciated. The house features a cozy kitchen area and a lovely living room where you can unwind and soak in the tranquil surroundings. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, but the staff handled it graciously. While waiting, we enjoyed a cup of tea and had a delightful chat with one of the friendly ladies working there, which made us feel right at home. We were genuinely sad to leave but are already looking forward to our return, for one of the retreats. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene escape.

Self catering facilities included a dishwasher with a modern electric cooker. This was only built this February, discreetly pointing away from the main building onto quiet open fields. The tasteful modern decor and furnishings had a colour scheme throughout. We were quickly able to get out to many good places in Llyn peninsula, Anglesey and Snowdonia within 30 to 45 minutes. The proximity to the recently built Caernarfon bypass helped here. 4 days was just not enough. We met the owners. The dialogue on directions was helpful because the position on the map was slightly inaccurate.
