just everything is great, from the staff to the structure, the dog the bathroom the garden. towels are included. I stayed both in a dorm and a private room and loved them both. the structure also doesn’t let the cold in, which you can’t say for many places around the lake so plus even there. fully equipped kitchen, big garden, easy to socialize but also chill, in the exact center of the town. maybe had a light in the bathroom and the kitchen so that visibility is good at night as well.

Very friendly staff and I believe a family run business. Rooms were more then big enough and consistently had hot water. We were offered a room clean and additionally free access to kayaks. Basketball court was an added bonus and provided plenty to do when not exploring the town. Finally there is 2 very friendly dogs we liked. They do have there own area if you were afraid of them however.

Rebeca is very friendly and will help you. Her house is right next to the market and St Maximón. You can easily walk from the boats there. It is very quiet and confortable. I enjoyed the terrasse as well

This was without doubt our Best stay on a month trip. The family here were very friendly and warm, preparing nice and plenty of breakfast every morning. We sat and ate the breakfast together and got the chance to speak a lot of Spanish and hear about their thoughts of the school system and the political system. The room was very spacious and it was quiet at night, because the house is approximately 1 km from the tourist streets at the lake.

The stay was pleasant, beautiful, and comfortable, truly giving you the feel of San Juan, but the real wonder was the kindness by the staff. The kitchen is so well equipped, my food finally tasted like something again! I enjoyed the feeling of the big communal living room, and when people cooked traditional Guatemalan food, I got a bite :) The hostel itself is nice, and I was glad to have an affordable private room.

The staff were kind and hard-working. The views and setting (the hotel gardens are superb) were stunning and the whole atmosphere totally relaxing. Brandon, on reception, was very helpful. Our room was kept spotless. The waiters and bar staff were efficient and the gardeners did a great job too. Overall the place creates a safe haven to enjoy San Lucas.

The location is perfect with fantastic views over the lake. Accommodation was clean and everything exactly as advertised. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved my stay and would definitely return. Highly reccommend!
