My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and as Achill was always a place we wanted to visit and we like to support local people providing accommodation in their own homes we choose Greystone House and had a fantastic few days away.. Fiona was a very attentive and friendly host and there was a lovely card and bottle of wine for our anniversary waiting for us when we checked in. We had a fantastic few days away and had the most amazing weather. Greystone House is very conveniently located and spoilt for choice for amazing beaches.and stunning scenery. Amazing breakfast provided and great selection of food available. Would definitely recommend.

All the rooms were en suite. The lounge was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Having a washing machine and tumble drier was really useful after our days out. The setting was beautiful.

Freshly made breakfast, very well made. Lovely welcome even though we were a bit ahead of time. We had our own entrance into our room. Bathroom was spacious, the view was stunning.

Excellent property throughout, well maintained and plenty of space (even if six people staying). Location is really good for visiting Achill, Newport, Westport and all round Nephin Beg Range. View over Clew Bay to Croagh Patrick, from the living room is exceptional!!! We would certainly return, as we still have a good number of the excellent restaurants nearby to visit.

    Fantastic location within walking distance to Keel beach and all amenities and only a short drive to Keem Bay & Dugort. The room was very spacious and was spotless. Hosts were so warm & welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious on both mornings also.

    Amazing place. The accomodation was spotlessly clean, very cocooning with as amazing view!!! It is the best location to visit Archill island ! We also really appreciated the weleome box and the provisions in the fridge! We had the opportunity to have a lovely welcome from Jack who also provided some history regarding the the village. Thank you for your friendliness, for letting us enjoy your lovely place and wish you the very best!

    Very attractive old house. Ellie and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The mixed dormitory was very comfortable. Even a charger point and reading light for every bed. Breakfast was fantastic. And the evening meals in the dining room were beautifully cooked, a great menu. The Golden Strand beach is just a short hop away, great for a swim. The location is ideal, well away from the main villages yet still close to everything.
