How can you make a regular hotel especially good. You gather around a young Team of people who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Normally at the end of a long season it will start to show as people are very tired. Not in Harmony and Smile (the name is so appropriate) Each staff member was more than happy to ensure we had enjoyable a stay as possible.

This B&B shines like a beacon on the hill. It's clean as a whistle and the well heated rooms have excellent views but the real draw is the hospitality. My partner and I rocked up off season and expected restaurants in Stazzema to be open. They weren't. Daniella made us an excellent dinner with drinks. If it didn't save our life it certainly made the night very welcoming. Come here and stay. Seriously.

The B&B is in a magical location, we have never before felt so remote yet comfortable - it is very rare to sleep next to waterfalls, which made the stay feel very special and romantic. My partner and I were staying for our anniversary, and Gianluca (the host) was exceptionally friendly and attentive to all of our needs. The room has all the facilities one could desire, and the breakfast had excellent options - it was particularly nice to be able to choose what we wanted to eat/drink and dine outside. Whilst I had initially chosen the booking for its outstanding location, I would certainly go back equally for Gianluca's hospitality. We had a slight moment of panic when my partner left some of her belongings by mistake in a bedroom drawer, but Gianluca immediately informed us and arranged for the belongings to be delivered to us, which was an extra level of thoughtfulness and honesty that exceeded expectations. We will certainly be visiting Candalla again, as the whole experience was memorable.

Very nicely furnished and decorated place. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and little kitchen where you can find all the basic things so you can cook your dinner that you can enjoy at the amazing terrace with breathtaking view. The owners were super nice and helpful.

    This is a great location for a lovely Tuscany holiday. It’s close to Pisa, Florence and Lucca. The owners are extremely friendly. The rent out a few units on their farm. Pool is a bit fresh in early May but will likely warm up over time. The kids loved it anyway. Home grown lemons and olive oil, a nice restaurant on walking distance (500m downhill). Would book this location again.

    If you want to spend relaxing time in an authentic Toscan landscape, then you got in the right place! The house is very cosy, very clean and about the hosts, what can I say? They are very, very nice, always ready to help you. The lady cooks delicious ,we enjoyed the food q a lot! Paolo, Grazie mille per l'ospitalità!

    The hosts at the property are wonderfully warm and you feel very welcome with their sincerity. We arrived late and were offered a superbly cooked dinner which was authentic. Nothing was too much trouble. They were extremley helpful and we ate dinner and breakfast with them. The portions were huge. A wonderful quiet location. Tip is if you want to dine elsewhere, book in advance as we tried the two local restaurants and were able to get a reservation on a saturday evening.
