The hosts were absolutely lovely and we had great conversations (in Italian - I don't think they speak English), we couldn't have hoped for a more friendly welcome. The house and room are beautiful and for our purposes perfectly located, i.e. close to but not in the centre. Breakfast included actual bread, cheese and eggs (which is unusual in Italy) and delicious homemade marmalade and we were really happy with our choice all around. Grazie mille per un soggiorno eccezionale!

Our stay at Villamena was excellent in every way . Our host couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and served us a delicious breakfast with great coffee. The whole place is beautifully decorated with art work and the room has every comfort you could need . An easy walk from the station and the sights of Spello.

    Easy check in and fabulous location. The apartment was quiet, spacious and very clean and comfortable. In the heat of the day the AC was great. Windows also have fly screens so sleeping at night with a cool breeze was lovely. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook but it was nice to have a table/tv separate from the bedroom. Washing machine was easy to use too. The locals of Spello were kind and friendly.

    A nice apartment with big old fashioned furniture. The balcony is a great place to watch the swifts flying around and a good view of the town of Spello. The location is excellent for exploring Spello, the path into town is literally across the road. The owners are very friendly and it was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped although not the best quality utensils. But it’s a sweet little apartment and I would definitely go back on my next visit to Spello

    We really enjoyed our stay here….such a pretty location in a small alleyway. The apartment is very comfortable ,spotlessly clean, nicely decorated. Very appreciative of the little extras …. basic supplies like condiments, tea,coffee, washing machine detergent ,everything you could possibly need for a very relaxed stay. Location is perfect, easy access to cafes,supermarket, train station….great to be picked up from the station on arrival Very friendly welcoming hosts,would love to return

    The owner has a fantastic two bedroom apartment that worked really well for the three of us. Two good sized double bed rooms, central dining / living area with open plan kitchen, beautifully decorated throughout.  The location was perfect being in the centre of Spello’s old town up a small cobbled street scattered with small artisan shops and pots of blooming flowers. It was spotless clean, tasteful and very cosy. One of the best rentals we ever experienced.

    We had no hesitation booking again. The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable and beauifully decorated in a quiet location, except for the birdsong. It is convenient to the delights of Spello, Trevi, Montefalco and the fantastic Rasiglia high up in the hills. Thank you to Sonia for all her generous and warm hospitality; for the provided breakfast provisions and for doing our washing. Mille grazie.
