The location was perfect for us as we visited the Shaun the Sheep farm before check-in—it made the journey super convenient. The guesthouse itself was a beautiful blend of traditional Japanese charm and modern touches. We especially loved the dinner—it honestly felt like an omakase experience! The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed for a brief free bike rental provided by the hotel on the day we checked out. We managed to ride to the Hikone Castle before we checked out at 10am. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared.
