The host Manami made us feel like home! She speaks great English and made the check-in experience very smooth. Would recommend this hostel for anyone going to Tsuwano.

We had a wonderfull time in Hoshi Ryokan!!! We had a very friendly welcome and even got picked up at the station although it is just 2 minutes to walk. Everything was clean and we had a very nice and big japanese room. The food was delicious and our special wishes (no fish 🤣) were fullfilled. Everybody here was so friendly!!!Thank you so much!!!!!

The location was beautiful, by the sea. Very accessible by car, don't know about public transport. The hosts were great and even though they did not speak English, made good conversation with us. Definitely recommended!

This guest house that I would call more like a ryokan is wonderful, the house, the garden, the nice breakfast, but most of all, the host was great. My main memories of tsuwano will ever be her(Kana) and her ryokan. They were the highlight of my stay in tsuwano . Share a japanese style room with another guest, make it more interesting . This has been one of the most unique and top hotel experiences ever for me. The place is a perfect peaceful getaway from all your struggles, the place has no signal but they provide free wifi. They have an all you can eat breakfast and dinner with all you can drink bar as well that is covered by your stay. The room was spacious with a gorgeous view and many facilities for laundry, onsen and activities. To top it off, the staff and the owner were the nicest and sweetest people ever, during heavy rain storm they offered us to use the dinner space and have any drinks for free, they even offered us a ride to the station when we were checking out and drove us to local attractions. It was like hanging out with new friends. This was one of the best experiences ever, if I'm in the area again I would definitely visit again.
