We had a room in the annex with privat onsen. The room was well equipped and for two people very spacious. The privat onsen was just perfect after a day of exploring the region or for a relaxing dip before breakfast. Btw, be sure to add the delicious japanese style breakfast when you arrive! For 1200 yen per person and night this is an absolute bargain! Staff was so nice, we had an amazing stay. It's a traditional japanese inn, don't expect a 5* hotel here!

The private hot spring is just amazing! I enjoyed it very much. The cats and dogs are adorable as well. On the day checking out I have to find a place to work. The staff kindly let me to work at the lobby until 3 pm. Thank them for the flexibility.
