The entire place was idyllic. Just off away from the hustle and bustle. The setting is in paddy fields down a dirt track. So, so cool! The manager on sight was extremely helpful and got us a tuktuk and drove with his bike down the track as our car couldn't make it and got us cold fresh juice on arrival. The owner was very helpful via WhatsApp. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our experience. Thank you to the team.

It's a wonderful place with a warmly welcome; you feel very welcome but still you can keep your privacy as they know how to handle tourists. The owner is a very intelligent man with a lot of knowledge, and he speaks english very wwll so you can have very good conversations. We totally liked our stay.

Our stay at Leel's Cottage was nothing short of perfect! The cottage was charming & cozy, offering all the comforts of home in a tranquil setting. The garden's surroundings were peaceful, with stunning views that made every moment special. The hosts were warm and welcoming, ensuring that every detail was taken care of - Especially Leel's mom, will treat you like your own mom! We also loved the food and the thoughtful touches, like the fresh flowers. If you are also interested in Safari, look for no other! Leel, is a truly experienced guide and his eagle eyes will spot all kind of animals, birds & flowers. Overall it was the ideal getaway, and I can't wait to return to for another relaxing stay! Beautiful property, rooms are very clean and spacious with your own private balcony and big outdoor area and hammocks to use. The staff were incredible, very friendly and kind and amazing customer service. The food was amazing and the safaris they offered were very easy and enjoyable.

Loved everything about place .they have a very comfortable safari jeep for a very reasonable price Food was the best we had in srilanka . 5 minutes to the safari park . We stayed for one night at Wild Lake Side Lodge to do two safaris in Uda Walawe NP. Milan is a wonderful host and made our stay very pleasant and memorable. We rented two of his three cabins which are spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped with aircon, hairdryer, water kettle for tea and coffee and a fridge. We enjoyed sitting on our private patio in the evening watching fireflies. Milan is very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He also cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast with the best omelette on our trip. This is a truly beautiful little gem in a lush tropical garden.

My family had an amazing time at this beautiful hidden gem! The location was just gorgeous with a beautiful lake surrounded by trees. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helped us with anything we needed. We got the chance to go on a safari in the morning and relax in the pool by the lake towards the evening. Definitely coming back!!

Stunning location! Properly isolated and very peaceful. The room is big and spacious with a superb view of the lake and mountains. We had an amazing time here and got to relax and unwind with the family. The caretaker also really went out of his way to look after us. We also got the chance to go to Udawalawe national park and see elephants. Overall the trip was perfect especially at that price! I wish we could have stayed for more days but we have made plans to come again for a longer stay. A hidden Jewel!

We stayed one night to do a Safari in Udawalawe. It was the perfect hotel for that. Walking distance to the Main Bus station.host was very friendly and arranged everything for us. We even got a delicious homemade breakfast to take with us. The service was outstanding! The room was very clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable - I would definitively recommend this place.
