We had a wonderful time here. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a private pool and a beautiful river view. The bed was super cozy and the AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was excellent and really delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Wilpattu!

We all really enjoyed our stay at Wild Wadi Wilpattu hotel. From the moment we arrived (really late in the evening) we were looked after extremely well by Manori and her team - they provided very tasty good value meals and organised a reasonably priced safari for us at short notice. The rooms are clean and spacious and the surroundings very nice. Our children enjoyed seeing the monkeys at breakfast and looking out for other wildlife. We were only sad we couldn't stay longer. Would definitely recommend - thank you for a lovely stay!

The Sanctuary is an outstanding place. The building itself it’s beautiful designed and decorated, fitting in well to the natural surroundings. The room and all the fittings feel high quality and a luxurious, a real treat when budget back packing. The nature that it is surrounded by is truly beautiful and peaceful. The perfect place to sit back and relax! What makes The Sanctuary so special is the staff. So welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Their knowledge of the animals and plants that you will see on walks around the premises is amazing, so well educated and genuine. The food cooked by mum is 10/10 and you will not leave hungry. They made our safari day so enjoyable and truly perfect!! I can not recommend this place enough, it’s a new venture for the team and they do it so well!! Thank you so much to everyone involved.

Great team - special thanks to Mr. Kuma and Mr. Kumara for making our stay unforgettable! We felt very comfortable and taken care of. Very kind and helpful Mr. Kuma told us about Wilpattu, took us on a trip to show us elephants, helped us organize really great safari in National Park and our trip back to Negombo. It was one of a kind experience :) In this place you can really relax, de-stress and be close to nature. I can highly recommend this place as a fantastic mix of great people and beautiful nature.

The property is ideally located just a few minutes away from the Wilpattu Park.. The amount of ground this property covers gives you ample space for kids to enjoy themselves as well. We had a great stay in this beautiful resort. It started with a warm welcome and a lovely fruit juice. The rooms were very spaceious and so clean. We loved the outdoor shower. The swimmingpool is great and also is the common area. They serve a great breakfast and cook great meals. Everyone is so friendly. We booked a lagoon tour which was great. They realy took their time and even took as swimming. I would highly recommend this place to stay. Thank you to all the great staff for giving us an incredible time.

I've visited plenty of hotels in Sri Lanka but here i had the most warm welcome. I stayed in cabana which made in traditional rural style. All nessesary facillities (fan, moscito net, privet bathroom) were there. Host Prasanna is amazing and empathetic person. He always helped us with all our reqests but on the same time he wasn't intrusive. Besides, I’d like to mention good value for money, convenient location (10 minutes to beach by foot and 5 minutes by watersport lagoon by tuk-tuk) and delicious (non spicy!) traditional food.
