The view from the room was absolutely stunning. The property offers two types of rooms: one with a balcony and one without balcony but an extended front view. During our extended stay, we had the opportunity to experience both. Both rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and featured king-sized beds that were extremely comfortable. The wooden chairs and tables added a charming touch, and the bathrooms were modern and well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was the host, Susantha. He is a genuinely kind and helpful person, always eager to assist with any needs. Beyond that, he’s an excellent cook! I highly recommend trying both breakfast and dinner—he’s happy to customize dishes to suit your preferences. Conveniently, there’s a grocery store right outside the property, along with a few nearby cafés. For even more options, the main market is just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away. If you enjoy outdoor activities, there are also several hiking spots in the area.

The rooms were really cozy and comfortable and we had a great sleep. The host and his family were really helpful. We were going on a hike, and host even sent a vehicle to pick our bags up from the city before check-in. Breakfast was great. They offered many types of food which was really tasty and fresh while also catering to our specific requests (eg: Allergies, Vegetarians). Overall a great experience.

One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! An absolutely incredible guesthouse with the most lovely hosts, and crazy good value for money. We had a beautifully decorated room, and there were several hangout spots both indoors and outdoors that you were welcome to spend time in. The breakfasts/dinners are served al fresco under a pergola overlooking the valley with rice paddies and beautiful birdsong. One of the absolute highlights was the free cooking class to make your dinner - we made 4-5 different curries with our rice and curry order, with the most delightful chef patiently waiting for us to weakly shred fresh coconut to make sambal!! About a 10-15 min tuktuk ride into town for an explore, which was very reasonably priced. I'm so glad we stayed here a bit away from the centre of town rather than in the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The hosts are also so welcoming and lovely, and speak excellent English. They also helped organise transport for us to Nuwara Eliya to our next stay. This was a genuinely edenic experience and we would absolutely come stay here again on a future visit to Sri Lanka.

Great location for the city and lake etc. Would highly recommend staying for a low budget stay.

    I wanted to let you know that a very tasteful entrance which led down to the room we had booked. I would like to add this was the last room they had which was a budget room with twin beds.     The property is located in an ideal location with a beautiful greeny surrounding. It's a few minutes walking distance to the temple of tooth, the kandy lake, restaurants, shops and ect. Property has decent level facilities, it's very clean & comfortable with big rooms & common areas. There is a balcony with a mountain view where you can sit and relax, Staff is very kind & helpful to everyone. I do not hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone and I wish to come back agian.
