Mystay is a lovely rustic place set among trees and birdsongs. The room is quaint. There is a sitting room, a bedroom and a shower room with back-to-nature theme. 😍. All rooms are nicely decorated. There is a wall fan if one feels hot. At this time of the year, the temperature at night was nice and cool. 😊 There’s a hot shower which is a nice touch. There is an open treehouse dining area which is nice. 😍 The host, Prashan, was attentive to the guests. He showed me to Boella waterfall which is a Very nice waterfall with several swimming spots. 😍 As it is only a 1 night stay, I could not see the other attractions in Mawanella. I shall be back to see the other attractions. I had lunch and breakfast at Mystay and they were delicious.

That is a nice cozy place surrounded by banana trees, very calm, we slept well! The room was very clean with air conditioner, fridge and white bed linen. Excellent bathroom with good hot water pressure that is not common for Shri-Lanka. Service was brilliant, special thanks to manager Andrew who was very attentive and solved all our questions for example when we needed additional adapter he found it immediately. The tasty hearty breakfast was included into the price as well as visiting a swimming pool in the hotel nearby. The great bonus was that you could also watch the elephants’ bathing in the river. A couple who cared for the facilities prepared the most tasty rice and curry we tried in Shri-Lanka and treated us with bananas from their garden. We enjoyed our staying in this place very much! I highly recommend this place if you are going to visit Pinnawala!

Everything about this hotel was amazing, the views are breathtaking taking. The staff are so welcoming and kind, they really care for the guests. Rooms are a great size and clean. There are a lot of bugs but expected as it is in the jungle. The food was absolutely delicious if you want authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The pool is perfect. There is not much to do and it is far away from everything, but absolutely perfect if you just want to relax, which is exactly what I needed.

That was one of the most amazing and unordinary stay in my life. And working in a tourism I’ve been staying in many hotels all over the world. The view from the room is awe-inspiring. The air here is so clean, fresh, and filled with the scents of flowers and trees that you can't get enough of it. I was sitting on the balcony for several hours, unable to take my eyes off the views of the mountains around me. The room itself was very comfortable to stay in, excellent bed linen and pillows gave me a feeling of comfort while sleeping. The manager of the property Inthizar was very hospitable, showed us the entire territory of the hotel, told us the story of its creation, that many things in the interior were made by his father's hands. In the morning, he took us to the tea factory (which works here for more than 70 years already), where we had a fascinating tour of the tea production and tasting of various varieties of tea. Then he took us to the local market, where we bought fresh fruits. It was a pity to leave the hotel, one night is not enough to enjoy all the charm of living in THE CLOUDS BTW, The drive from the center of Kandy took us around 50 minutes, the navigator finds the location without any problems, the entrance is very convenient

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay, and I sincerely hope I can return as soon as possible! Well I don’t know where to start. I could write a book about this place. We were in love from the minute we checked in, the family made us feel so welcome. Our room was huge lovely quirky little pond in the room with a few fish. The bathroom was really really stunning made out of all recycled rocks and the room was immaculately clean. Little pool to cool down at the end of the day, amazing breakfast. We had a cooking class which was offered by Gayashan and we also had a barbecue with the family which included music. This family quickly became a part of our family. They couldn’t do enough for us. I miss the children they are so lovely, also not forgetting Bruno, kitty and their cockerel. We booked Gayashan for the rest of our tour of Sri Lanka (15 days) and what an amazing guy he is. He’s friendly, he’s funny, he has an amazing sense of humour, he goes above and beyond to make your stay Just perfect. I cannot wait to come back. This is the first time to Sri Lanka and it will certainly not be the last. ❤️❤️❤️ I waited until I was back in the UK to do my review and let’s just say I miss you so much my brother from another mother. The bond between Gayashan and my husband will last a lifetime.

    It was a wonderful experience in this cabin. The place is fully equipped and well maintained. The host Mr Sisira is a wonderful person and helped us many ways during whole stay. Amazing location plus close to Kandy town and Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. If anyone is interested in hiking, there is a view point Saradiel Rock close by. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel free with nature. We would be very happy to come back someday!
