We were welcomed with open arms. The apertment was giant and very clean. We had good functioning wifi and ac. The apartment was the cleanest one we had in Sri Lanka. We just stayed one night- so we unfortunately couldn't explore the beautiful garden they have! The owners even stayed up early at 05 am to cook a breakfast for us! They also recommended a safari guide who was very kind. It was all very unproblematic- we highly recommend!

It's a nice little homestay tucked away from the strip. It truly is a 5 min walk from Lion Roc, so great location. The major point is that it's run by two lovely people. The owner offered to take me to Pidurangula at 4.30am because it was too far to walk. Then he cooked an incredible breakfast. Such a great place. I'd recommend it to everyone

Staying there was the best decision I made in this trip. Not only the hotel facilities were perfect, but also Saman and his family were really friendly and helpful. They helped me with arranging everything and gave me ideas for planning my trip. It wasn’t like staying in a hotel, it was more like being hosted by a local family ❤️ If you’re staying in Sigiriya you should definitely choose this location. Good price, clean hotel, friendly and helpful stuff, great location…

Unbelievable staff, everyone was super helpful for whatever was needed. Super attentive and available to take us wherever we needed to go. Good breakfast and we also had meals at the hotel and everything was always perfect. Great pool for a late afternoon. Thanks Jorge and all the staff!!!!

The hotel is new, so the room was very nice and clean. There is a terrace with a beautiful view of Lion’s Rock, where a tasty breakfast is served. The location is perfect, there are many restaurants nearby, and it’s quite close to the entrance to Lion’s Rock. The staff were very friendly and arranged a tuk-tuk for us early in the morning, as we wanted to climb Pidurangala Rock for the sunrise.

The Shakshuka breakfast was delicious, also the pasta dinner ~ as good as in Italy. Bed so comfortable, setting very peaceful. Pool was perfect for cooling down in the middle of the day and I loved watching monkeys swing through the trees while reading on a pool lounger. The owner arranged a jeep safari for me at local Eco Park ~ it was awesome to see elephants up so close!

Stay at Sashini Homestay if you want an authentic experience and a chance to meet the loveliest family. Chaminder and his family are so friendly and welcoming. The property is super centrally located - opposite major restaurants and walking distance from sigriya rock. Chaminder has a tuk tuk and can arrange trips to Pidurangala and Dambulla for great prices. His wife makes the most amazing food and I’d recommend trying her rice and curry. This was hands down the best breakfast i had in all of Sri Lanka - with different options every morning and a chance to try different delicacies. There is only 1 room available so dont hesitate to book!
