Disclaimer: as a courtesy of our host we were offered a stay in another accommodation, a villa called Wild Kiss. Essentially it is another villa located on the same territory as Villa Ovita. So the following review applies to our overall stay regardless of the facility (Villa Ovita or Wild Kiss). A lovely spot The place itself looks like a cozy oasis in the jungle: apart from a place to stay you get the beautiful garden with blooming flowers and trees, as well as peculiar herbs and spices that the host uses for cooking a breakfast. From the garden you can see some wild animals like parrots, squirrels, as well as geese and a lovely dog that live within the property. The villa is a quite place isolated from the main roads which is perfect if you need some peace. However it's only a 5min bike ride to the nearest coast, and all the restaurants are within 10 minutes reach. The Wild Kiss villa was beyond amazing in terms of design and convenience: everything is brand new, beautifully made. You get everything you need - from wifi and AC to cute fancy bathrobes 😌 Super amazing host We got the warmest welcome possible from the first minutes: despite arriving super late (around 1am), Damith, the host, offered us a home made refreshment drink and showed us around. My legs were super hurting after a long tour around the island so Damith organized for us a masseur visit right on the villa for the price cheaper than it would be in the salon Damith also arranged us a bike rental for the price and quality better than we previously got in Hikkaduwa. Food (obviously) The breakfasts were a true reason to start a day: every day a new dish, home cooked, with a plate of fresh fruit and fresh juice. Yum!

No words to describe this magical place!!! This is by far our best stay in Sri Lanka! Without doubt! From the first moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles from these amazing hosts! Throughout out stay they went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and to make us feel at home. We came as a guests and left as a friends! ❤️ You really have to love this family! The place itself has breathtaking view! It is right on the beach and basically you have private beach for yourself! Unique experience! Breakfast was delicious and hosts can also prepare on your demand fresh seafood! They can also organize boat trip on demand. ACs in bedrooms are really good and everything is very clean and tidy!

The Divine Villa is extraordinary! Staff were incredible, food was lovely but the environment was even more exceptional. It was the most amazing 4 days we had with 8 adults and 8 teenagers. We almost didn't want to go out and do activities because we didn't want to miss any time at the villa. Each room is just exquisite. Staff were so happy to accommodate any of our requests, including shifting bedding around so some of the teenagers could be together. The pool was amazing, as was the gym. Lastly, the view was simply breathtaking! I really hope we can visit again one day. Couldn't recommend any more!

It is a small and cozy mini hotel. Brand new. Very clean rooms, bathroom and territory. There is a fantastic pool and sun beds. It is close to the ocean. But the most important is the staff. Very friendly and helpful, they will do everything to make you feel comfortable. Absolutely love this place and 100% we will come back.

The room was lovely with a beautiful view and balcony to enjoy the sea below. It was very clean and had comfortable linen and a great AC and fan! The staff were all friendly and went the extra mile to help when I asked if we could use the main fridge to keep things cool. There were great restaurants to Tuk Tuk to for amazing dinner which were less than 3km away! The pools to swim in, in front of the villa were great and there was a lovely calm bay.
