The location is perfect for visiting all the parks in the Sepolok area (the rainforest conservation area, the orang utan conservation, the sun bear concervation are all at walking distance). The area is quiet, you'll sleep nicely. The room we used was the bigger, with two large double bed and an additional signle bed. There were towels, bath gel, toilet paper as needed. Hangers and all what needed to dry your things after walking in the forest. Everything was super clean and tidy. The room has independent access and has its own bathroom, kitchen, fridge and separate lobby. The host is also providing snacks, soft drinks, emergency ponchos, water bottles (pay what you take. Honest prices). A very comfortable place in the Sepilok country side.

Beautiful homely GH/house. 1 of the best places have stayed in the whole of Asia. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Host (Maini) very prompt in her response and also helpful for places to eat. Would recommend this home to anyone thinking of staying in Sandakan and area. Thanks

The host is kind and understanding. The host is willing to wait until midnight to hand over the house keys. The transaction is also very easy, after booking, the host immediately chats. The property was very clean and welcoming. The room was equipped with a good air conditioner, a comfortable bed, and a hot shower with easy temperature control. Like many Southeast Asian accommodations, the shower is located near the toilet, but the floor dries fairly quickly. The Wi-Fi worked well, allowing me to work and attend business calls without any issues. Self check-in with no staff on-site, but access was easy and the team is responsive via WhatsApp if needed. I recommend this accommodation because it's actually located in the more modern part of town, with all the necessary amenities nearby—supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. The city center didn’t have much to offer in comparison
