This lodge is situated absolutely beautiful at the border of the rainforest. You can observe a lot of birds and other animals directly from the patio of the quiet located and separated appartements in the forest. The lovely staff was very friendly and courteous. Best banana pancakes for breakfast we've ever eaten. We stayed 3 nights and it was one of the best accomodations we had on our roadtrip in Uganda. For nature lovers it is the best choice in the Rushaga sector. Just 15 minutes drive to the UWA-gate for the gorilla trekking.

The owner was helpful and friendly, she contact me before my trip on whatsapp, and gived good information. The accomodation is a new builded house, beutifull. The breakfast and the dinnervwas tasty a plenty. The accomodation is near the gorilla track meeting point. The owner put the fire to dry the wet shoos for the next day gorilla track. It‘s an amazing place in Kisoro. It’s clean, big and cozy. The staff and the manager Ivan are incredible friendly and helpful. He took us for a walk through the authentic Kisoro and showed us the best sunset-viewpoint. He helped us planning all our activities in Uganda and we booked our Gorilla trekking experience with them. We can highly recommend to do this as well. We would stay there anytime again!

They managed the gorilla permit for us with less than 1 week in advance and without any extra fee. Fireplace every night, amazing service and amazing meals (full board for just +30$ per person). First night we pitched our tent but since it's cold and we wanted to stay longer and do some other hikes around + batwa pygmes, we got a self-contained room for a good price and it felt like high luxury for the price we paid. Last day we saw a gorilla from the chill area, I have no words to describe this piece of heaven, thank you guys!!
