The property was well maintained and managed well from all aspects. The staff was very helpful especially mr. Inbarajah. They also helped us cook our own vegetarian food at a separate place near dining area.

The room was very spacious and clean. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help us with anything we needed! They even gave us mangoes and coconuts picked from their garden, and both were absolutely delicious! We ended up going on a safari with them, which turned out to be the highlight of our time in Sri Lanka! It was a one-day safari where we saw two leopards, elephants, and many other animals. They also prepared lunch for us, which we enjoyed by the ocean. We had an amazing time. Their little puppy was so cute and lively—we absolutely adored him! We would gladly return in the future.

Every unit features a private bathroom and shower, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a fridge. Tranquil wild lived up to its name. It is right next to a lake with water buffalo in it. There are heaps of birds including peacocks and hornbills in the garden plus lots of monkeys, squirrels and lizards around. The garden is huge with mature trees and plenty of space. You can walk beside the lake and do a little exploring, really nice at sun rise or sunset. The swimming pool was excellent for a bit of relaxing. Anne and Amal were fantastic hosts answering all our questions and organizing our safari and other activities. I recommend having Amal on your safari. He is full of info and has a big camera lens to get those close ups the cellphones can't do. Their safaris go into block 5 and 6 which are a lot quieter ( in terms of jeep numbers) than the main Yala block 1. We saw elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birds, and 2 leopards. Also if you have the chance to have dinner and bonfire down by the lake shore then do it, we got lucky with a stunning night and full moon rising. The food, including breakfast was really good. If you are looking for somewhere to relax with nature then this is it.

The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, room service and currency exchange for guests. This is one of the best stays. Place is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We booked the cabana with the private pool and facilities of that was extremely satisfying. Special comment should be given on the customer care of the entire staff including the management. They paid attention to every bit of our requests. Food was delicious. We will definitely visit again.

The accommodation is wonderful, from its wild setting to the extremely welcoming hosts and the activities they offered (like swimming in a local, non-touristy mountain river and visiting the 'mini World's End'). I can only speak in superlatives. This is by far the best value for money I have ever come across. I wholeheartedly recommend it!"
