Lovely separate house on the private property of lovely and very welcoming family. All necessary items where in place, very clean, amazing sunset over lake

This was great value for money. We arrived late after travelling, got a hot shower and slept in a comfortable bed. There was a free breakfast included before we set off again in the morning. Very easy check-in and check-out with friendly staff if needed.

Beautiful cottage. Very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Very clean bathrooms. We saw the aurora from the verandah around the cottage. Sea and mountain view. Walk to the sea beach 5 mins. Walk to the restaurant 2 mins. Apartments and rooms of the hotel are closer to the sea, but a little further away from the restaurant.

The cottage is located on a hill so the view is spectaclous! We enjoyed the glacier view and sunset a lot! It was only around 10 mins drive to Höfn and less than an hour drive to Jökulsárlón. It is bit small that one room has a bunk bed, but the rest is quite equipped.

We stayed in a beautiful, clean and spacious hotel room with views of the mountains. The bed was comfortable with soft pillows and bedding, and the bathroom featured a piping hot shower- perfect after a cold day of exploring the Icelandic wilderness, and Diamond Beach. Buffet breakfast featured an extensive spread of continental breakfast fare, fresh fruit, and hot beverages. A lovely place to stay the night.
