I loved being able to walk out of my room, through our verandah and on to the pool or the beach. The perfect beach holiday escape. Food was excellent, staff were excellent. We voted this our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka.
- Big rooms - Service - Hammocks - Sun lounges delivered to the beach with mattresses
The location is super convenient and super close to the beach. You have a porch and a garden and the room was huge and comfortable, including a mosquito net. The guests are super friendly taking care of all the facilities and also gave us some recommendations where to rent the bike or where to go. Highly recommended!
Sudas is a very kind helpful hotel manager and was able to help us on every question. Air conditioning and mosquito net are OK. Chairs in front of the rooms make it possible to relax outside of your room in the evening.
The hotel is stunning, it feels very luxurious for a reasonable price for european standards. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the manager Shyakthi. We ended up staying 2 more nights. The biggest highlight was the private beach, we were there alone most of the time and the sea is perfect for swimming. The beach is equipped with sun beds and a shower. The hotel offers 4 course dinner for 7000 rupees per person and ayurvedic massage for 35 dollars. It is the perfect place if you want to relax in a beach resort.
These are simple, no frills cabins set in a nice tropical green garden. The cabins have mosquito net over the beds, air-con, fan, towels. The room was clean and the staff were friendly if you needed anything. We had laundry done, which came back within 24 hours lovely and clean. 5 minute walk to the beach.
Beautiful resort - best bit was its location. It was next to a lagoon and in the evening oxen wandered down to the water to cross to a nearby island. Lots of very interesting wildlife to see as you sat for an evening drink. A short walk away there was a great beach, which had a couple of beach bars but was relatively deserted
