We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hidden gem. The mule pick-up service added a unique touch, making us feel like true adventurers as we arrived at the property. Our room had breathtaking views and we couldn't get enough of the ever-changing panorama and the sounds of the river stream and birds around us. We enjoyed Polo's culinary skills, showcasing local flavors and ingredients. The chocolate tour was an absolute highlight! Learning about the process while indulging in treats was an experience we won't soon forget. Also the inclusion of local fruits from the grounds was a delightful touch. It felt like a genuine connection to the land and its offerings. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, Polo's warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident. I was worried at first that this might be the wrong choice, since it’s a bit far from the park entrance and the main hiking trail. But this place turned out to be absolutely magical. I would recommend it to anyone. While sitting outside on the little terrace, I saw so much wildlife right in front of the cabin: two types of monkeys, an agouti, parrots, a sloth, a squirrel, iguanas, tons of birds, and even a snake. The cabin itself is super comfortable. It feels cozy, and the bed is really nice. Also, it’s easy to catch a small shuttle or bus from here to both the main park entrance and the starting point of the hike to Cabo San Juan, which makes it a really convenient base. Truly an unforgettable stay in Tayrona.

Beautiful lodges with the most amazing views of Tayrona National Park. Friendly staff and delicious meals. Highly recommend the massages - very good value! Great location for visiting the park as the local bus stops right outside every 15 minutes! Loved the pool and the chill out areas.

I loved how welcoming our hosts Justine & Danny were, plus they had amazing activities to offer. The kitchen area is just perfect to prepare some delicious dinner. The communal area with hammocks, couches and the pool are just perfect to relax after an adventure and the property is well maintained. Proximity to Tayrona National Park is just 10 walking minutes to the next entrance.
