the food! it was the best meal we had in all over Sri Lanka (2 weeks), the location is private, no tourists at all in nearby area, so it’s truly a local home stay vibe. there was hot water and overall comfortable.

I had a wonderful experience at the bungalows by CPC. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant décor. This was truly a hidden gem, we loved everything about our stay at Kandy River Lodge. The apartment was spotless with essentials for cooking if required. The view of the river from the balcony was beautiful. The host had water bottles tea and coffee available to us and offered us a complimentary transport from the train station. The host was available to help with any requests and very responsive. If you are staying in Kandy I would definitely recommend staying at Kandy River Lodge. If we get the opportunity to come back to Kandy we would definitely book again
