As the name suggests it the hotel is located in natural, tranquil surroundings. The room is super clean and the staff is very helpful.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. The location is THE BEST you could ever imagine. Right at the edge of a national park with view onto a lake you see lots of macaques and langurs, birds, mongooses and with a bit of luck elephants roaming around, sometimes they come very close and are just 2 few meters away. No worries there is security fence as you know it from national park areas inbetween. The cabins, very exclusively as there are only 2 available, are perfectly equipped, spotless clean, airtight - so no bugs will bother you as long as you exercise common sense to keep doors closed and come with very good working air-conditioning. You have a nice cozy seating area/porch attached to watch the animals while you are enjoying meals or ice-cold drinks. Bringing your binoculars to view animals further away is recommended. Sanka is THE BEST host you could ever imagine, very warm welcoming and always smiling, and very attentive. He is always available, happy to serve you his delicious food and ice-cold drinks to your room, everything for very reasonable prices. He helps to arrange safaris for you, provides amazing advise on sightseeing, loves to exchange experiences with his guests. He is such a lovely person, himself still very excited about the wildlife, it was hard to leave this place. Ensure to reserve ahead as this place has only 2 cabins and is of course very popular. This stay was a dream this is a real homestay. The stay was above and beyond of our expectations. First of all Kumari and all her family recives us with open arms. Secondly the room is confy and tidy with ac and all the features. I reccomend you to sit and relax on the outside terrace and breathe a real srylanka lifestayle and enjoy the wildlife. Thirdly I really recoomend let Kumari prepare some food. I’m a celiac and she helped and gave us all the advice we needed. She gave us the best breakfast and dinner we have triyed in sry lanka by far. Evething was delicius with miticolously care. Also, she offer us a Safari wich was fantastic and even they pic us from the homestay. We saw lot of elephants. Do not think it twice, this is the best option around Sigiriya and Lion Rock.

We spent wonderful time in this hotel, nature and wilderness is all over you. It is located in beautiful garden with small beautiful lake blooming with flowers, and river on the other side. It is not easy to get there but definitely worth it , one time we saw elephants crossing the road, you live on a tree your room have no walls only bed is covered with mosquitoes net. If you look up you will see monkeys and beautiful birds. If that was not enough you will meet most wonderful kind staff , they will Help you with everything , they are very modest,kind people. You will find there food that is just amazing !!!!! It was the best food we had in Sri Lanka :) go there for a taste of paradise

Owner is very friendly…the room is very clean..the cleaner aunty every day clean the room.Very comfortable bed & everything ☺️.the lodge is near by town.best hotel😊 value of money ✅
