Amazing staff - some of the best we’ve experienced Amazing owners - the most welcoming and caring hotel owners we’ve ever had. Food - food home cooked and so much of it. Helped us organise activities. Took us to the local boxing. Made sure we were satisfied and happy at all times. Some of the best service we’ve ever received. The way you get welcomed and sent off when you arrive on the boat is something special.

Very welcoming staff and a lovely location. A special mention to Ornella who really looked after us. The lemurs come at sundown for bananas which is really special and was the highlight of our stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The chef provides options based on what he has & cooks tasty dishes including fresh fish & prawns. The owner ( Jean Michel) was very helpful and arranged 3 days of Scuba diving for us as well as a trip to Lokobe to see the wildlife. I would recommend for a few days of peace & tranquility.

Everything! Wonderful and secluded place to stay that gives you those unique experiences you will remember for years with an amazing atmosphere and wonderful hosts. The bungalows are of very high standards with unique views and very fresh interior - rooms were also every day. The gardens are wonderful and the surroundings are amazing - a true nature experience. Tasty and varied meals that were homemade every day and plenty of things to do that the hosts gladly were arranging. We have been travelling much around and this is absolutely one of our best experiences. Hope to come back one day and thank you so much for contributing to making our holiday its best! We had such a lovely stay at Tamarin Lodge. The location of the bungalows is fantastic, being walking distance to some local restaurants and the local market. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of how beautiful and lush the garden area is and if you’re lucky you’ll spot some lemurs in the trees above.
