From working with me on a mistaken booking date to rescuing us in a storm when our rental car got stuck in the mud on the way to a waterfall. Eva and another staff member brought us back the next morning in a large 4x4 truck and we were able to pull the SUV out of the mud with a tow strap. Thank you!!!

We did a kayak tour into San Ignacio which was super chill and the guide was very informative. Got to see monkeys and toucans!

The property features pool and garden views, and is 18 km from El Pilar. The villa has private entrance. This property and caretaker David just were above and beyond what we could have hoped for! What a beautiful house with all the amenities just minutes from town. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

We enjoyed so much everything, well decorated and clean cabanas, the sound of nature, the wonderful terrace to relax, the refreshing swimmingpool, delicious breakfast, …. We tubed down the river, pet the bunnies & donkeys & ate fruits & vegetables raised on the farm. The pictures of the rooms & common areas don’t give this justice. We went to the ruins & had a phenomenal guide (Gershwin) that made all the difference. I felt extremely safe & a part of something bigger than myself. Thank you so much for an experience I will never forget. I felt like part of your family. I already miss waking up to the sounds of the birds & monkeys in the jungle.

With river views, Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins is set in Unitedville and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The location was just perfect, super easy to get to on the bus from Belize city or belmopan or San Ignacio. If you want to be in the jungle it's perfect, you're off the main road and there's plenty of paths out the back to really explore! Also it's literally about 10 minutes from the ATM cave and the lodge takes care of reservations for you to just get picked up right at the entrance of the lodge so it's perfect. Plenty of wildlife around too.

Each charming bungalow and villa has a balcony with wonderful river views. The staff knows what you need even before you need it! Absolutely fantastic. This was one of our best experiences with truly professional and attentive staff. Property is gorgeous and does not feel crowded evenn at full capacity. The perfect place if you are looking for a quiet hideaway in the jungle.
