Super friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very stylish and modern hotel, with fresh design, comfortable rooms. We liked the common areas with card games, excellent waiter who served us during the evening hour. Kids very much liked the cartoons on the walls, including the garage, and the bunk bed. Special bonus were the electric vehicle chargers directly in the hotel's garage.

The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The staff members were helpful and courteous, answering all of our questions. The hotel is new and still has they new smell to it which is nice. The room looked exactly like the photos. They are very trendy in style. There is a restaurant on the 7th floor, not associated with the hotel, which had good food and a beautiful view. The lobby has a large sitting area with many activities. It was nice to see the lobby nearly full with people interacting and studying.

    It was very disappointing that we as tourists were fined heavily for not having a train ticket because we could not find a ticket machine . So it left a bad taste in our mouth, we went back to our hotel room and stayed there for the day and will not return to the city.

    Nice city, very interesting Museums, apart for the MAK...

    Nice city, very interesting Museums, apart for the MAK which was totally disorganised, with nothing of value to present. THe public transportation is very convenient, I preferred regular restaurants to the Nashmarket, the Nashmarket was more a tourist trap that a place for delicacies. The city is clean' well entertained and very nice overall.

    Vienna is a beautiful city with many historical and cultural experience opportunities. It's easy to get around on the mass transit and parking near the major areas is thin but possible. The people were friendly and helpful, and most spoke at least some English. We were there for 4 days, but most people would need 8 to do what we did. We could definitely have stayed for 2 more days. I highly recommend the Votive Church and the Mozart House Concerts. Both were fantastic!

    The Spanish Riding School performance was really good. The Naschmarkt & Fleamarket are great to visit on Saturdays. Well worth visiting the Kunsthistorisches Museum, The Natural History Musuem, The Albertina Museum, The Upper Belvedere (Klimt paintings), and Secession. The Sisi museum was a bit disappointing - quite dark in places and you were through the exhibition quite quickly - it did not feel like good value for €20 entrance fee, Public transport options are great with U-bahn, tram and buses combined 24hr ticket for €8.

    A beautiful city that has made it into my top 5 in the world. Architecturally, one of, if not the best! Everywhere you turn, there are incredible buildings, a photographers dream and so many wonderful places to eat and drink and watch the world go by. Shows and concerts to alight your senses and to play havoc with your mind, in that you only wanted more.

    There are too many tourists in central Vienna even very late...

    There are too many tourists in central Vienna even very late in September which makes queuing for everything frustrating and nowhere to sit outdoors in good weather for food - the wurst stands were heaving the Sunday I left. I booked 3nts & did a day trip to Salzburg and Salzkammergut. Salzburg was way more chilled with a wine festival. I didn't have enough time to see the palace or Belvedere so I did the ring road tram self tour on the 24hr pass for €8 & visited Beethoven's house. I booked the CAT from city to airport expecting great things: the lounge area seats were stained, unhelpful staff, the free lockers are always full but the station lockers at Mitte take card and are a reasonable rate (take photo of code): entrance is opposite an escalator coming up from underground at street level. I would take S7 in future. If you are into museums, gardens and concerts then you'll need 3-4 days to really get the best of Vienna. Had I not taken a day trip I would have fitted most things into my 3nt stay. Public buildings are very grand. Canal area is covered in tagging - didn't appeal to me. I also found a Christmas market on the night I arrived in downtown. If you are staying for a lot longer and in the season, there are many types of day trips by train, boat or tour you can take to Hallstatt, Salzburg, Bratislava, Budapest however, I would suggest several days in Budapest.

    A basic hotel, - no luxury. But newly refurbished rooms. All very clean. I had a practical single room with a good bed and basic bathroom. Friendly staff. Breakfast: No luxury, but what you basically need: Cereals, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee, fruit, etc. Very quiet location, 75 m away from a small road. 5 mins walk to a tram line. 40 min walk to city centre. 20 min walk via the Prater Park to Vienna Convention Centre. Beware that the reception desk is only open 07.00-19.30 (approx), so a late arrival must be booked in advance, I guess?

    I travelled with my teenage daughter and we found the hotel really good. The room was comfortable and all seemed very new. The aircondition made the stay pleasurable, wifi was good. The staff was helpful. It is situated just outside the city centre but and underground station is just outside the hotel so it made it easy to get to the centre and to travel around Vienna. There is a construction site exactly near the hotel but it didn't interfere with our pleasant stay.

    The room was very clean and you have everything you need for your short stay in Vienna in a compact space (hair dryer, fridge, kettle, plates, cutleries, small fan etc.)! The Westbahnhof station is in 10min walk, and from there the city centre is just 10min by underground. It's not like a hotel room decorated in a fancy way, but great for the price you pay.

    Superb value for money, really nice hotel. Only a €4 15 minute train ride from the airport and then easy access to the city. If you're only in Vienna one or two nights and don't mind a short commute to the city centre this is perfect to keep the budget down.
