I have to say I don't understand why people visit here other...
I have to say I don't understand why people visit here other than that it's somewhere to stay and also eat before heading off to the various natural attractions. There was no charm or character. I feel like I missed something. It was just a dumpy, dreary town with the odd boring historical building. The best part of Alice Springs would be the Desert Wildlife Park which was excellent, but I couldn't see that it had anything else going for it.Guest review byRebeccaAustralia - 10

We unfortunately encountered 2 days of rain on our 2 day stay. Guidebooks helped us get around and choose activities to do indoors.
