The personal touch to welcome the guests, the personalised service at breakfast, the tastful and detailed decor of the whole place to create a warm and elegant ambience, it reminds one of the time of Raffles hotel in Singapore. Breakfast was personally served by David, who was the chef and housekeeper, keeping the whole guesthouse (a heritage building) clean! Tim, the owner was just as welcoming, showing us the property and gardens. If you like a clean, quiet, and homely place, look no further. Even the garden grounds are very tastefully done up. There's also a cottage for families and the king bedroom, which are very tastefully decorated by Lucy, Tim's wife, who has a keen eye for details!

Helen and Allan were wonderful hosts who escorted us on some of the very interesting bush walks on their 30 hectare property. They were so accommodating. Coupled with the excellent general facilities this made Meriba our best ever B&B stay. We are pretty discriminating and do not make these comments lightly. The multi-faceted, extensive gardens were also a highlight. The early checkin gave us a great opportunity to enjoy the property to fullest advantage. We will be back at the earliest opportunity.

Great coffee and food at local cafes and staff very friendly. Great meal at George's restaurant at Osborn House. Lovely lunch and visit to Bendoorly Wine Estate at Berrima only 25 mins drive. Great views in the national Park just down the road from our hotel. Nice visit to Red Cow Garden at Sutton Forest but a few weeks later and we'd see more Spring colours in the garden.

Great base for bushwalks.

Great base for bushwalks. Fitzroy Falls and the Western Rim Walk were spectacular. Loved the Glow Worm walk - but it was too cold to see many Glow Worms as they die off in winter. We will come back in summer. Bundanoon Village very cute and welcoming. Lots of interesting shops, especially the wool store. Easy road trips to Bowral, Exeter, Moss Vale and all the delights of the southern highlands. Love the cold winter weather and autumn leaves.

This place is truly inviting—there's so much to enjoy: billiards, board games, reading nooks... it makes you want to settle in and stay. That’s why it feels like a bit of a missed opportunity not to offer a simple dinner menu, especially on your first night. The idea of having to leave the comfort of such a lovely setting just to find food elsewhere was a bit disappointing. Only breakfast is served, which is a bit of a shame. The second point: if you happen to come toward the end of the breakfast service, you might feel slightly rushed—as if the vacuum cleaner is revving up just behind you! It was Easter holidays, and the last thing I wanted was to feel hurried during a relaxed, late breakfast after our first night. Lastly, I’m on a new diet protocol and completely forgot to request gluten- and dairy-free options ahead of time. I made a few hiccups in my order the first morning, which I corrected the next day. The host was very attentive—which I truly appreciated—but she repeated my original order quite loudly, thinking she had misunderstood me, and I ended up feeling rather awkward and guilty. A slightly more discreet and diplomatic approach in that moment would have gone a long way.

The main thing is that the walks are very much down and then up, so you need to be in reasonable shape to handle that. But they tend to go to, past, and through many beautiful and/or spectacular places.

Quaint town. Enjoyed the hike to the coal mine falls. Literally there is a coal mine behind the falls. Very pretty gorge. Driving along the local roads past the hills and farms is very pretty. Really liked driving through Exeter.

Loved the whole 2 days there we could have stayed a few more days! Tim and Lucy was always helpful and went the extra mile even having a home cooked cake left next to the coffee and tea facilities for weary travellers to have afternoon tea after there journey! Could not praise this place any higher. Definitely recommending to my friends and will stay again

The most beautiful scenic location that felt secluded but was only a 2-3 min drive from the main part of town. The owners were the most delightful, kind and welcoming couple and it felt as though we were all good friends. They continually endeavoured to make our stay perfect, lighting us a beautiful fire in the living area and offering to make us hot drinks- definitely more personable than any hotel experience.

The location of the property was ideal for our purposes. Loved the vibe of Bundanoon. The accommodation was great, a short walk down the path from the street into a lovely cottage. The bed was very comfortable which was a bonus.

The Bundanoon hotel is a quaint country pub with simple, comfortable accommodation options. The facilities such as the pool and the tennis courts are a nice bonus. The beer garden and restaurant are lovely- food was excellent.
