Fantastic breakfast included in our mid-week stay for two nights. We love the location and ate at local restaurants for dinner. Our room was lovely with ensuite bathroom. Plenty of room for our short stay. A couple of really comfortable and warm sitting rooms with televisions for guests to use. Friendly hosts. Great value accommodation in Bundanoon.

When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the front desk gentleman (who happened to be the manager). Our room was already ready, even though we were about 45 minutes early for check-in. The room size was great, the temperature and overall ambiance was excellent, and we received many recommendations considering we mentioned we were going to Kangaroo Valley the following day. Overall, just an awesome experience!

3 bedrooms, all with queen size beds with nice bed linen.. Excellent en suite with large walkin shower . Large covered patio, great for the rain. Mostly very clean. Loved the pet friendly approach. Large fridge and stove/oven. Dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. Lots of little extras. Short drive to Bundanoon village shops.

Great coffee and food at local cafes and staff very friendly. Great meal at George's restaurant at Osborn House. Lovely lunch and visit to Bendoorly Wine Estate at Berrima only 25 mins drive. Great views in the national Park just down the road from our hotel. Nice visit to Red Cow Garden at Sutton Forest but a few weeks later and we'd see more Spring colours in the garden.

Great base for bushwalks.

Great base for bushwalks. Fitzroy Falls and the Western Rim Walk were spectacular. Loved the Glow Worm walk - but it was too cold to see many Glow Worms as they die off in winter. We will come back in summer. Bundanoon Village very cute and welcoming. Lots of interesting shops, especially the wool store. Easy road trips to Bowral, Exeter, Moss Vale and all the delights of the southern highlands. Love the cold winter weather and autumn leaves.

This place is truly inviting—there's so much to enjoy: billiards, board games, reading nooks... it makes you want to settle in and stay. That’s why it feels like a bit of a missed opportunity not to offer a simple dinner menu, especially on your first night. The idea of having to leave the comfort of such a lovely setting just to find food elsewhere was a bit disappointing. Only breakfast is served, which is a bit of a shame. The second point: if you happen to come toward the end of the breakfast service, you might feel slightly rushed—as if the vacuum cleaner is revving up just behind you! It was Easter holidays, and the last thing I wanted was to feel hurried during a relaxed, late breakfast after our first night. Lastly, I’m on a new diet protocol and completely forgot to request gluten- and dairy-free options ahead of time. I made a few hiccups in my order the first morning, which I corrected the next day. The host was very attentive—which I truly appreciated—but she repeated my original order quite loudly, thinking she had misunderstood me, and I ended up feeling rather awkward and guilty. A slightly more discreet and diplomatic approach in that moment would have gone a long way.

The main thing is that the walks are very much down and then up, so you need to be in reasonable shape to handle that. But they tend to go to, past, and through many beautiful and/or spectacular places.

Quaint town. Enjoyed the hike to the coal mine falls. Literally there is a coal mine behind the falls. Very pretty gorge. Driving along the local roads past the hills and farms is very pretty. Really liked driving through Exeter.

Loved the whole 2 days there we could have stayed a few more days! Tim and Lucy was always helpful and went the extra mile even having a home cooked cake left next to the coffee and tea facilities for weary travellers to have afternoon tea after there journey! Could not praise this place any higher. Definitely recommending to my friends and will stay again

We chose this historic hotel adjacent to the Bundanoon railway station as a two day getaway from Canberra (travelling by train) to enjoy my birthday. Our stay at the Bundanoon Hotel met all expectations in a comfortable historic location (a clean queen-bedded room with ensuite bathroom) friendly staff and delicious evening meal in the dining room. Also close walking distance to several delightful cafes in the Bundanoon village. We rated our two day visit as excellent and would happily stay again at the charming Bundanoon Hotel.
