I didnt have much of an opportunity to see the shops - seems to be a few vintage/second hand stores that i wanted to visit. We ate at Leon's palace as the orbost hotel's chef was ill therefore the restaurant was closed. The food was great. Orbost river was such a great place to cool down and have a swim. The locals were there too and friendly Close to Buchan Caves which we visited and some waterfalls. Single room (with ensuite) contained a large comfortable bed along with comfortable chairs and even a bench at which to work on (or table). During my visit to Orbost itself, hospitality or assistance was not found in abundance, when visiting, so this place was like a little haven.
