It is in a beautiful location in the countryside, with no neighbours. It sits above a lake so has lovely views and kangaroos bounding around. The rooms are spacious with great views, spa bath, gas fire and all the conveniences you need. A very easy place to relax in.

If you want to be removed from the hustle and bustle of typical tourist areas, Rydal is a wonderful location to explore the Blue Mountains. The Old Oak Tree Cottage has everything a traveler could want, plus more. The hosts provided a wonderful assortment of kitchen and bathroom staples. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the electric blanket for the chilly nights. A special treat was the can of bird seed on the patio for morning and afternoon feeding of the birds. We would book there again if we come back to the Blue Mountains.

Large spacious room, clean and comfortable. Set back from the highway so the noise in not noticible. The beds were quite comfortable and they had super towells in the bath.

The location was fantastic, easy to walk to shops, places to eat and places of interest in town. We all loved the federation features of the house, the pressed metal ceilings, lovely furniture and floors
